This book was written as a reference to help anyone asked to create basic Make-up Effects. No cumbersome equipment or weeks of preparation is required. As a working make-up artist and instructor I wanted a book I would use as a reference at work. There is little on the subject of out of kit make-up effects even though it is the most widely used effects due to time and budget restraints. So at my wife's prompting we created our first book formatting it like a cook book. Every chapter is self contained and easy to follow for the new and experienced alike. Knowleged is best used when shared. I have had the opportunity to meet many gifted artist during my carreer. They all influenced me in some way and I felt an obligation to return the favour by sharing what I have learned.
