- What sinister event took place at home while the Bennetts were on holiday?
- How do Lugh's spear and Nuada's sword help Zack and Sweeney deal with the villains who are spying on them?
- Who is Enzo Potenza, and what terrible danger does he put The Eight Team in?
- Whaat happens when Gordon takes his first bite from an apple plucked from the Tree of Knowledge in Avalon? What life-saving lesson does it teach him?
- What happens when Grace and Gordon first take Nick and Miranda into Coincident Alley, and how does that pose a serious threat to The Council of Thirteen?
- What's so special about the set of thirteen antique mirrors on sale in Heulwen's hardware emporium?
- What part do magic mirrors play in helping the Eight Team get around? How do they make it possible for Grace's father finally to pay her and her two mothers a visit?
- What hellish creature does Enzo Potenza set upon the four intrepid teenagers?
The Eight Team has to face devils from the burning bowels of the Earth. They combat wickedness at every turn, but fortunately some ancient Gods and mysterious aliens are on their side, as well as an army of giants ....
The story twists and turns, insisting that you keep your wits about you. Often (I hope) it will make you smile; but sometimes, in places, much like the world we all live in today, I must confess it makes me cry.

About the Author
Once upon a time -a long time ago - I was born in Bootle (Liverpool 20) in the UK. There was a war on. Later, I wanted to follow in the footsteps of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis but instead was plunged into the maelstrom of inner city education. In the 1970s I wrote some stories for children to see if I could, and Penguin published them. I thought I would write something really good when I retired from teaching...
After fourteen years of headship in Hackney I came back up north in 1993 and met my wonderful wife Amy. We looked after my increasingly ill parents full-time until they didn't need us to do it anymore, by which time the first of our two daughters was ready to go off to University and on to the first rung of the housing ladder. We did the sums and I went back to teaching...
In 2008 Amy and I set off for a life by the western shores of the Caribbean. It was only after I survived a murder attempt by three local thugs in November 2010 (skull crushed in two places, seventeen stitches in head wounds) that I realised how easy it is to die without accomplishing a cherished ambition.
So we came back to the UK and I set to work on "Myrddin's Heir" the epic story I will leave behind. It took three years to write the first four books - now in the Kindle Store at 99p each. Self-publishing means self-marketing, so here I am. Book 5 was published in April 2014 for the same price...
This is a story for bright children from 10-110 years of age. It's longer than The L of the R, longer even than HP &... To finish it I need to live another 15 years. I'd like to finish it, because I know how it ends.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
