It Hurts But I'm Okay

This is a book about life. Life often hurts. It's simply imperative to be able to say that even though life hurts, I'm going to be okay. Author Martha Bailey uses stories, many of them humorous, to show how Scripture relates to life. These stories, strung together as a string of pearls, will inspire the reader to live a life pleasing to the Lord. Although Martha came from a life of hurts, she has learned to live life fully by acknowledging the hurt, but understanding that with a circle of friends, believers, and the Lord God that she will be okay. She successfully imparts this knowledge to the reader with stories that will inspire thankfulness for God's work in the details of our life. Each chapter shares a scripture, a true life story with an application for the reader's life, and a prayer.

Martha L. Bailey is the author of Putting My Dress-Up Clothes Away and is a frequent speaker for women's events. She and her husband, Waylon, reside in Covington, Louisiana, where he is pastor of First Baptist Church.
