This two-part volume contains the proceedings of HYP2008, held at the University of Maryland in June, 2008. The conference highlighted several main themes, including singular limits; nonlinear wave patterns in multi-dimensions; particle/molecular dynamics; the theory and numerics of multiphases and interfaces; transport in complex environments; and model reduction. In the talks included here, researchers address theoretical, modeling, and computations issues arising under the umbrella of "hyperbolic PDEs." The first part of the volume contains the eight plenary talks and the eleven invited talks; the second, larger part contains 66 contributed talks. Please note that we have a variety of shipping methods available to us and we are happy to quote for various options. Our prices include shipping fees, platform commision and robust packaging. There is no profit element.

We quote for priority and standard shipping, based upon a book typically weighing 1 kg. Standard shipping is delivered in the UK either by Royal Mail 2nd Class (untracked) or by courier services which are generally tracked. Standard International orders are shipped using either Royal Mail Economy (untracked) which typically takes longer and is only advisable for lower priced items or, where economic, courier services which are tracked. Priority items are generally shipped using tracked services, either by Royal Mail or other couriers.

Heavier books may well attract a surcharge which will differ, depending on the geogaphical location of the buyer. When processing orders we will notify customers of any increases or decreases to rates based upon higher or lower weights, or other delivery methods.
