It is more than 25 years since the World Bank Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes entered into force. More than 120 States are now parties to it. These reports present in a single, comprehensive series all those decisions of ICSID tribunals which are in the public domain, as well as the decisions of national courts relating to such proceedings. This volume contains the texts of the awards and decisions in cases that began during the period 1972 to 1981. These are preceded by the basic texts - the ICSID Conventions, ICSID Rules and Regulations, the Additional Facility and the Model Clauses. All decisions are prefaced by a summary and a key word heading. Consolidated tables of cases and consolidated indexes will appear in each volume.
