4to (17. 5cm x 27cm). 150pp. including 144 full-page illustrations of products manufactured and sold by Hayden, Gere (New York and Haydenville, Mass.) plus 3 fold-out plates inserted. Original green cloth binding with beveled boards and gilt lettering stamped on front board. Unknown to Romaine. This is a very scarce illustrated catalogue of parts made for steam engines in the mid-19th century. OCLC locates only 1 copy. A few tears at the head and foot of the spine and along the front joint. Boards have a few scuff marks with some bumps along the edges. Text is bright and clean. Overall, a very good copy.
