Lo scopo dello studio � quello di indagare l'approvvigionamento idrico, il sistema idrico e fognario, l'attitudine al riutilizzo delle acque reflue e se l'acquacoltura circolare sia un sistema sostenibile nei Paesi in via di sviluppo.I risultati indicano che gli isolani gestiscono generalmente le loro risorse idriche e che un atteggiamento dubbioso nei confronti del riutilizzo delle acque nere pu� essere dovuto al cosiddetto fattore disgusto. Nonostante l'accettazione variabile del riutilizzo dell'acqua, � possibile introdurre sull'isola sistemi di acquacoltura circolare che consentano ai Paesi in via di sviluppo una gestione pi� sostenibile delle acque reflue.
