About the Author
Elda chose to write her Global eBook Awards nominee book due to the increased normalization of infidelity. Having been on both sides, she understands the pain, anger, resentment, and emotional stress that stem from affairs, plus the critical familial and financial issues as by-products. Her goal is to lay new groundwork for progressive thought and--action.
A native Southern Californian, she was born in Glendale, reared in Lincoln Heights until two years of age, and resided in Norwalk thereafter. Independent at a young age, she left home at seventeen, attended Rio Hondo College, studied at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Whittier College.
Her exploratory nature prompted her to parasail in Puerto Vallarta, zip line in Costa Rica, ski the Austrian Alps, swim with stingrays in Moorea, frolick with dolphins in the Caymans, dance on stage with the Gipsy Kings, and stand in awe of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Her love of travel keeps her crawling around this fascinating planet.
She has worked in the entertainment industry for many years in various capacities; dialogue coach, voice-over, casting, and has performed on stage, screen, and radio. Her primary focus was acting (her first love). She has also taught English in Japan and has tutored Language Arts in underserved communities within Orange and Los Angeles County. She has volunteered for a variety of causes.
Her joys are reading, dancing, music, reveling in humor, and expanding her horizons externally and internally. She loves, loves, loves flamenco! Elda currently lives in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.
