About the Author
After co-authoring the award winning book The Corporate Startup, Dan Toma founded the consultancy company Outcome. Here he is helping large companies transform to be able to grow for the future while running their day-to-day core businesses. In this capacity he worked with blue chip companies around the world, most notably: Allianz, Bayer, DNB and DNV GL. In 2020 Toma was featured on Thinkers50 Radar List of management thinkers to watch.

Esther Gons is the founder and CEO of GroundControl. GroundControl is innovation software that focuses heavily on innovation accounting and helps corporate startup teams with the development of new business models. They work with clients such as Schiphol Group, DHL and ABN Amro. Gons is an international speaker on topics of corporate innovation, innovation accounting, portfolio management and startups. She has been an entrepreneur for over 20 years and mentored over several hundred startups, for example as investor at NEXT Startup Ventures, lead mentor in the Rockstart Accelerator programs and Lean Startup Machine weekends.
