INSIDIOUS MECHANISMS Tales of Cursed Clockwork & Cyclical Anomalies LTD ED

A first UK Limited edition hardback (350 copies only) edited by Mark Beech. Published without a dust jacket. UNREAD. SYNOPSIS: "Fifteen previously unpublished short stories, set against the ticks and whirs of unfathomable devices, synchronised, in apparent mockery of the true cycles of nature and human desire. Herein are dark tales of clocks and music boxes, penny arcades and automata, tales in which the lines between the intricacies of the organic and the inorganic become very often blurred. With each piece written especially for this project, the book brings together a rare collection of work by some of the finest authors of strange fiction around today. THE STORIES ARE: *The Pößalu Clock by David Yates; *The Ingrained Incident by Charles Wilkinson; *The Clockwork Man by Alison Littlewood; *The Mnemosyne by Chris Kelso; *Evenfall by John Gale; *The Arcades by R. Ostermeier; *Iamb by Rose Biggin; *The Silver Buckle Clocks of Coombe Viney by Colin Insole; *Soul of Things by George Berguño; *Sympathique by Tim Major; *Seven Clocks and a Music Box by Mark Valentine; *A Bright But Haunted Age by Mat Joiner; *Another Nature by D. P. Watt; *The Watchdog of Time by Charles Schneider; *The Final Healer by Maria Barnes." Packed weight 780gms. IN STOCK READY FOR DESPATCH.…
