23,5x15,7 cm; 24 pp. Brossura editoriale con qualche piccolo difetto. Nel complesso buono stato di conservazione. Testo in italiano e francese. Prima edizione di questo interessante e curioso dove l'aurore commenta alcune teorie matematiche relative all'anno di apparizione dell'uomo sulla terra. Gilberto Govi fu una delle figure più importanti del movimento scientifico italiano dell'ottocento. Originario di Mantova prese parte attiva alla guerra d'Indipendenza italiana. Fu sostanzialmente uno storico della scienza (e della Matematica in particolare), e a lui si devono ricerche pioneristiche su Galileo, Newton, Franklin e soprattutto su Leonardo. Non comune.
