"Tenrikyo" (literally "Teaching of Divine Reason") is a panentheist Japanese religion with an estimated 2 million followers worldwide. It was founded by a woman, Miki Nakayama, who underwent revelatory experiences from 1838 onwards. The focus of the religion is to attain "yooki yusan" or "yoki gurashi" (joyous life) on earth through charity and abstention from greed, selfishness, hatred, anger and arrogance. [Wikipedia].
