Complete with 12 Full-Page Plates illustrating many Armorial Bearings, Crosses, Crowns, Devices etc. Also a Fold-Out Chart "Paradigm of the Tinctures". Contemporary Brown ribbed Quarter cloth binding with Marbled paper-covered Boards. iii (3) preliminary pages. Main Text 158 p.pages. 9 1/4" Tall, 450g. Only a trace of paper title label remains on spine. Edge wear and rubbing to boards. Hinges sound. Gift inscription, dated 1905, on endpaper and penciled name & date on ffep. Antique inscription at top of preface. Pencil sketch of armorial bearing on rear endpaper. No other inscriptions. Light foxing on Plates. Only an occasional spot on text.
