64 pages plus covers. Staple-bound paperback booklet: H 22.75cm x L 15.25cm. Covers stained, soiled, and foxed. Page 1 has handwritten ink entries by Private Stanley V. Keeton noting his IRTC arrival date as July 5, 1944 (but not mentioning which camp) and being trained for Rifle Company duties. Booklet's last three pages (62-64) are for autographs with page 62 having eight signatures and addresses/hometowns of fellow Alabama enlistees (so likely Keeton was from Alabama as well). Toning/foxing, soiling, and some stains to text block edges and to interior pages. Some rust to staples but binding remains firm. Booklet does not have a printing statement but was likely issued by either the US Army or the US GPO. Also laid-in between front cover verso and page 1 is multiple fold-lined certificate from Headquarters United States Forces European Theater noting soldier Keeton's possession of captured enemy equipment - one "Chec" [Czech?] pistol and one dress bayonet.
