Pedro Duque, exministro de Ciencia e Innovación, es el primer español que ha viajado al espacio. Licenciado en Ingeniería Aeroespacial por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, en 1992 fue seleccionado como astronauta por la Agencia Europea del Espacio (ESA). Actualmente trabaja en el gobierno corporativo y como asesor de fondos de inversión con vocación tecnológica.

Pedro Duque, former Minister of Science and Innovation, is the first Spaniard to have traveled to space. A graduate in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, he was selected as an astronaut by the European Space Agency (ESA) in 1992. He currently works in corporate governance and serves as an advisor to technology-focused investment funds.
