He is the author of Open Systems Networking: TCP/IP and OSI, and is a university lecturer and technology conference seminar instructor.
Lisa Phifer is a vice-president at Core Competence, Inc., in charge of designing and developing open network management and operations systems solutions for data and multi-services networks.
