The ISEB Common Pre-Tests are adaptive: a child who answers well is given harder questions, so a strong candidate spends much of the test on difficult material. This book gives that child plenty of demanding practice, so that hard questions on the day feel normal rather than alarming.

Who it’s for

Children in Years 5 and 6 (ages 9–11) who already do well on standard practice papers and are aiming at the most selective independent senior schools, and the parents supporting them. Best used in the final few months, once the core techniques are secure.
