ISHI The Rising

As unbridled capitalism continues, it has given birth to a new, nasty breed of human. A selfish, uncaring, moralless person for whom nothing else matters except acquiring wealth by any means. While the people struggle to survive under the oppression of these wealth lords, they long for a savior, a new leader, to put an end to the tyranny. Where there are believers, there is hope, where there is hope there are possibilities, and the ISHI just may be the answer to the prayers of humankind. "ISHI The Rising" follows Christa McCaffrey, a steely young woman who has grown up in the Foster Care system to become a high powered attorney and finds herself in the midst of an influential and dangerous corporate family.Christa's life turns upside down when activists abduct her and give her the opportunity to join their organization as a spy. On her journey, she will discover and harness telepathic powers she never knew she had. Her story is a spiritual awakening and a thrilling adventure.

Taylor Barnes has been, at different points in her life; a fine artist, publisher, book designer, illustrator, teacher, and journalist. She is currently painting and writing--searching for ways to create a heart-centered dialog within contemporary culture. She lives in Venice Beach, California.
