Enc. en pergamino. Ligera señal de óxido. Cerco de antigua humedad en las primeras hojas. * Rara obra dedicada a la revolución siamesa de 1688 en el reino Ayutthaya (actual Tailandia) que llevó a la expulsión del rei Narai. El jesuita Marcel Le Blanc (1653-1693) había sido expulsado de Siam y regresó a Europa en 1690 junto a algunos oficiales militares franceses para llevar noticias de primera mano del desastre. En 1692 dio a conocer su obra, pero el censor aplazó la publicación a causa de ciertas referencias a las maquinaciones de los jesuitas en Siam durante el conflicto (así lo sostienen Donald F.
