IUTAM Symposium on Dynamic Fracture and Fragmentation: Proceedings of the IUTAM Symposium on Dynamic Fracture and Fragmentation, Austin, Texas, USA, March 8-13, 2009 (IUTAM Bookseries (23))

IUTAM Symposium Proceedings.

This will be a spin-off volume from a special volume of the International Journal of Fracture. It will capture the current models, theories and experiments related to fracture and fragmentation. As such, it will be a good reference work in this area.

This volume contains papers presented at the 2009 IUTAM symposium "Dynamic Fracture and Fregmentation". It captures the current state-of-the-art in experimentation, analysis, and simulation in the area of dynamic failure of materials used in a wide range of applications. This is a hardbound edition which has also appeared as special issues of The International Journal of Fracture, vol 162:1-2 (PART I/II) and vol. 163 :1-2 (PART II/II).
