A transcripotion of a lecture by van Eesteren, originally given in 1928 and accompanied by projected slides. Van Eesteren was a De Stijl-influenced architect and planner active in Amsterdam in the early decades of the 20th century, as well as being chairman of CIAM from 1930-1947. The material in this lecture was considered a new approach to town planning. Text in Dutch and English. First edition. 23.5 cm; 160 pp.; illustrated. A fine copy in a fine dust jacket.
