RARE 1920 MODERN LIBRARY PRINTING IN AMAZING CONDITION WITH UNIQUE PUBLISHER FLAW This is an early 1920 printing of An Ideal Husband and A Woman of No Importance by Oscar Wilde in a Toeldano Type 2 leatherette binding and Brodzky end papers. THE BINDING COVER AND SPINE WAS NOT STAMPED IN GILT (this is the only copy I've seen with this printer flaw). The binding is nice and tight, pages clean and bright with NO writing, marks or book plates. Some titles from 1920 are included in the catalog in the back and some are not indicating an early 1920 printing. This book was published in 1919 so it could be a FIRST PRINTING since I've never seen one with only 1919 titles listed. The dust jacket is very good to near fine - incredibly bright but with some wear to the spine, front panel is removed from spine but held together with the dust jacket cover, 95 cent price present on spine. Now protected in an archival-quality dust jacket protector.
