Earlier, he served as chief commander of a national counter-cyber-threat agency, leading defensive and offensive operations protecting governments, critical infrastructure and Fortune 500 organisations, and began his career in the early 2000s as a white-hat hacker and vulnerability researcher. An MIT graduate, Roy holds degrees in computer engineering and psychology as well as an MBA.
