Ninth edition, undated c 1939 based on reference in the text p31 (the 8th appeared in 1937). Illustrated wraps. (15) + 154 + 6pp complete with 37 b/w illustrations, several of which full-page, and several adverts. Wraps creased with some wear. 1/9 written in red crayon to front, possibly a price. Pages good with some spotting, marks, and light creasing.
