About the Authors

Birgit Schneider lehrt als Professorin für Wissenskulturen und mediale Umgebungen an der Universität Potsdam. Sie forscht zu Bildern und Wahrnehmungsweisen des Klimas, der Kommunikation des Klimawandels, Bildern der Ökologie sowie zu medientheoretischen Fragen.

Thomas Nocke (PhD in computer science) investigates visualization methods for climate data and visual climate knowledge communication at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Germany.
