Image Restoration and Reconstruction (Engineering Science)

Though a relatively new science, image processing is already an important field with many useful applications in areas such as satellite imaging, astronomy, medical imaging, and holography. The first comprehensive treatment of image restoration and reconstruction, this volume focuses on those aspects which are most useful to scientists and engineers. An important feature is the inclusion of extended worked examples at the end of each chapter which allow the reader to get a practical feel for these techniques.
