This collection of essays on perceptions and conceptions of Germany focuses on the period from 1945 to the present.

About the Author

The Editors: Peter M. Daly, Hans Walter Frischkopf, Trudis E. Goldsmith-Reber, and Horst Richter, are members of McGill’s Department of German Studies. They have considerable experience in teaching and research on questions relating to German language, literature, culture, and history. The authors of the essays are all specialists in their chosen areas; they represent different disciplines and are drawn from different countries in Europe and North America.
