I Imagine: A Child's Book of Prayers

Childhood is full of emotions. This beautiful picture book explores the connections with nature a child might find in times of emotional need: "O Lord, if things are hard, I imagine I'm a river and you help me flow quick and clean around the rocks that block my path. O Lord, if I'm full of joy, I imagine I'm a robin singing sweet songs for everyone to hear."

Rachel Rivett is a picture book author whose books have been published in 9 languages. She trained in Drama at Bretton Hall in Yorkshire. Sheworked as a youth worker, ran a young people's touring drama group, andworked in schools with children at risk of exclusion. She was awarded adistinction for her MA in Writing for Children at Winchester Universityand was shortlisted for SCBWIs Undiscovered Voices 2014, with her youngadult novel, Traitor Girl. She happily home educates her fourchildren believing that the best learning happens when people are encouraged to follow their hearts.


Mique Moriuchi (Illustrator)
Mique Moriuchi is an award-winning illustrator with international appeal, working for companies in Korea, New Zealand, the US and the UK. She has won the White Raven Award 2009 and her work was selected for the Illustration Exhibition at the 2009 Bologna Children's Book Fair. She has aMasters in Sequential Design and Illustration and uses acrylic paint andcollage in her pictures.
