The film was directed by Morten Tyldum and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, Charles Dance, Allen Leech, and Rory Kinnear. Fine in printed wrappers. The film tells the true story of how British mathematical genius Alan Turing works with a team on a top-secret project to break the code of the German enigma encryption machine. The film won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay and was nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Cumberbatch), Best Supporting Actress (Knightley), Best Editing, Best Original Score, and Best Production Design. It also received five Golden Globe nominations; Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Actor - Drama (Cumberbatch), Best Supporting Actress - Drama (Knightley), Best Screenplay, and Best Original Score.
