Immersion in Mormonism

All members of the LDS Church, even those born into it, must become "converts" at some point in their lives as they develop testimonies of their own. A then, when they acquire a testimony, their next job is to keep it. President Spencer W. Kimball taught that the fight against Satan and his forces "is not a little skirmish with a half-willed antagonist, but a battle royal with an enemy so powerful, entrenched, and organized that we are likely to be vanquished if we are not strong, well-trained, and watchful." The author brings a unique perspective to his subject. The book is easy to read, conversational in tone, and punctuated with humor. And, as a convert who has not just "talked the talk," but who has "walked the walk," he gives street-smart advice on how to withstand the slings and arrows of the adversary while building a bullet-proof testimony.
