Immortal Thor Vol. 4 (Paperback)

Myth-making writer Al Ewing continues his unpredictable saga! In Asgard, Thor weighed his obligations as All-Father and as Gaea's child - and what he owed to both sides of his nature. Meanwhile, on Earth, a risen evil sought new gods to challenge the old - and found them in Thor's earliest foes. That puts the God of Thunder on a collision course with the Radioactive Man, the Grey Gargoyle, the Cobra and Mister Hyde! All have plenty reason to hate him - and working together, they have the power to end an All-Father's reign! Plus: What shocking game is the Enchantress playing? And a cavalcade of artists joins the fun to tell Tales of Asgard! Collecting IMMORTAL THOR #16-20.

Writer Al Ewing began his career on the British anthology 2000 AD. Since breaking into American comics, he has written Jennifer Blood and spin-off series The Ninjettes for Dynamite Entertainment, and the Age of Ultron tie-in issues of Avengers Assemble for Marvel Comics. Ewing’s novels include the Pax Britannia series as well as The Fictional Man. With artist Greg Land, he relaunched Marvel’s Mighty Avengers; for All-New Marvel NOW!, gave the god of mischief a new assignment in Loki: Agent of Asgard. Ewing then took revamped versions of New Avengers and Ultimates, debuted U.S.Avengers; and joined the writing team for the “No Surrender” storyline in Avengers, which brought the Hulk back from the dead. His subsequent titles include Valkyrie, Guardians of the Galaxy, Defenders, the event series Empyre and the critically revered smash hit Immortal Hulk. Ewing has cemented his place in the Krakoan era of the X-Men titles comics with S.W.O.R.D. and X-Men: Red.

Jan Bazaldua brought her hyperkinetic art style to Spider-Man for a star-making run with writer Brian Michael Bendis as the young Miles Morales took on the all-new Sinister Six. She burnished her reputation on titles including Mr. and Mrs. X and Loki, and her fast-growing list of Marvel credits now includes X-Force, Winter Guard and a trip to the far-off galaxy of Star Wars.
