Immortality A Rational Faith: The Predictions Of Science, Philosophy And Religion On A Future Life (1903)

Immortality A Rational Faith: The Predictions Of Science, Philosophy And Religion On A Future Life is a book written by William Chester and published in 1903. The book explores the concept of immortality and the possibility of a future life after death. Chester examines the predictions of science, philosophy, and religion on the subject of immortality, and argues that a belief in an afterlife is a rational faith. He draws on a variety of sources, including the works of philosophers such as Plato and Descartes, as well as religious texts and scientific theories. The book also addresses common objections to the idea of immortality, such as the problem of evil and the concept of eternal punishment. Chester argues that these objections can be overcome through a rational and logical approach to the subject.Overall, Immortality A Rational Faith is a thought-provoking exploration of one of the most enduring questions of human existence. It provides a comprehensive analysis of the various arguments for and against the concept of a future life, and offers a compelling case for why belief in immortality is a rational and reasonable faith. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
