Immunology: A Short Course

This second edition has been revised and expanded to meet the needs of today's medical students. In keeping with the original edition's ``less-is-more'' philosophy, this comprehensive yet concise text now includes coverage of AIDS immunology, T-Cell receptors, interleukins and other growth regulatory cytokines. Chapters feature clear, succinct introductions as well as sample questions and answers that prepare students for the national board examinations. The references have been updated, and the material now incorporates 10% more illustrations.

The 5th edition of Immunology: A Short Course preserves the original mission of this book by presenting cutting edge core information about the field of immunology. It does this by judiciously and rigorously underscoring essential content with coverage of immunology principles and concepts basic to medicine. The writing style is clear and user-friendly and it will appeal to the medical student audience as well as students in other health science programs and the undergraduate science student population.
