Synopsis

This study is an analysis of rural married women in Jalalpur Jattan, District Gujrat, Pakistan. This study explores different affects of contraceptives and the extent of perception of rural married women about the use of contraceptives. The present exploratory research evaluated physical complexities faced by women using contraceptive methods. It also explored the association between contraceptive use and physical health of women. Each subject was individually interviewed. The result showed various impacts of contraceptives on physical health of women.

Sharjeela has done Masters in Sociology from the University of Gujrat, Gujrat, Pakistan. She is presently working as a Researcher with an International NGO in Pakistan. Her main areas of interests include; Health Care Utilization, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Micro crediting.
