The Impact of Steel

He drifted town to town with nothing but an old van, a toolbelt, and a stubborn belief that small acts still mattered in a world cracking at the seams.

But people talk - and small acts don't stay small for long.
Stories twist. A quiet drifter helping strangers becomes a headline: Signs. Wonders. Miracles.

How much is true? Is he real? The world doesn't care.

Followers gather - hungry for a savior. Crowds swell. Tension spreads. Social shifts ripple outward, rattling those in power. And as the rumors grow, governments tremble.

Joshua Steel never asked for followers. He shuns the spotlight, but the myth grows bigger than the man.
As global pressure builds and the masses react, the old order starts to crack. Leaders scramble to hold on. Peace could come at a high price.

Will paying it make Joshua a messiah...
or a martyr?

Michael P. Clutton has been creating stories and art since he could hold a pencil. What began with cartoons and short fiction grew into a lifelong pursuit of finding the absurd, the heartfelt, and the quietly human in every idea he touches.

Known for his dry humor and wry take on life, Clutton blends imagination, wit, and emotional honesty across genres-from comedy and sci-fi to horror, literary fiction, and even the occasional tongue-in-cheek how-to guide. His work invites readers to laugh, think, and occasionally wince in recognition.

He lives in Southwest Florida with his wife, where inspiration comes as easily as the humidity. When he's not writing, he's probably drawing, fishing, or pretending his poker face still works.
