The Most Important Thing in Life: (It's good for the mind, body, and soul)

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE gives readers a strong understanding of the author and his origins. The subject matter of each sermon is relevant and relates to what readers might want to know about God and His Word. The variety of topics also keeps readers interested, and demonstrate how the Bible can provide appropriate advice for any situation we may encounter. It is clear the author has knowledge of what his congregation was seeking, and crafted his messages about God that would relate to believers beyond his church walls. The author's words are honest but compassionate in reaching readers where they are in their personal journey, reminding them that God loves them right where they are. He doesn't come across as lofty or unreachable as a pastor, but as a person who wants others to have the same relationship with God as he does. The sermons address the deepest need of humankind, which is universal and timeless - the need to have a relationship with our Creator, the God of the Universe, as revealed in Jesus Christ. This need has not changed, and we never outgrow it. In fact, the older we get, the more we become serious in our desire to have a closer relationship with our Maker. This is the book's central message. We never outgrow the need to forgive or to be forgiven, the need to be accepted and loved. It is revealed that in the midst of our struggles, God finds ways to get our attention. Our hearts will forever be restless until they find rest in a loving and forgiving God revealed in Jesus Christ. The singular goal of the book is for the reader to experience renewal and transformation as they come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life.
