Jon Pryor was born in Minneapolis, MN. Then at the age of 13 moved to the family home in Detroit Lakes, MN, and graduated from DL High School. He enlisted in the Air Force, married Deloris Ament and had a son named Eric. They moved to Wichita, KS where he was stationed at McConnell AFB. After his enlistment was up, they stayed in Wichita and he worked for the city until his retirement. Deloris passed away in 2017. Then while attending a Grief Share meeting, he met Ginger Davis. She contributed many ideas and captions for his panels. Ginger and Jon are both retired and live in Wichita.

Ginger Ayers Davis was born in Spring Lake Heights, NJ, attended SLH grammar school and graduated from Manasquan H.S. She then graduated from Brookdale Community College, got married and moved to Long Island NY. She worked mostly at Engineering Companies as a Draftsperson and Designer in Electrical, Mechanical and MOS Technology, before moving to Wichita, KS with her husband. After his passing in 2017, she attended a Greif Share program where she met Jon Pryor. They became friends and found that they had a common interest in humor. In these cartoon panels, Jon is the artist and Ginger contributed many of the ideas, subject matter and captions.
