His background includes eleven years of experience in Technical Staff positions in the manufacturing operations at Xerox Corporation and Hughes Aircraft Company. His past nine years have focused on the application of simulation in manufacturing and industry.He has given lectures at several simulation seminars, and has co-authored other books and articles on simulation including publication in the Industrial Engineering magazine and proceedings of the Winter and Summer Simulation Conferences. Tom is a corporate trainer and lecturer for the American Management Association.
Tom is also the co-developer and co-author of the Simulation Scholar©, the Simulation Benefits Analyzer©, the Simulation Output Analyzer©, and the SimBOSS©. Tom received a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University.
