Prior to forming JMI in 1988, he had thirteen years of experience at Arthur Andersen & Co., Levi Strauss, Inc., and Xerox Corporation. He has held management positions in Operations, Finance, and Marketing and Sales. Jack holds a B.S. in Accounting/Economics from Loyola University and an M.B.A. degree from Loyola Marymount University. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He has given lectures at several simulation seminars, and has co-authored other books and articles on simulation including publication in the Industrial Engineering magazine and proceedings of the Winter and Summer Simulation Conferences.

His past nine years have focused on the application of simulation in manufacturing and industry.He has given lectures at several simulation seminars, and has co-authored other books and articles on simulation including publication in the Industrial Engineering magazine and proceedings of the Winter and Summer Simulation Conferences. Tom is a corporate trainer and lecturer for the American Management Association.
