Improving the Efficiency of Iron Ore Mining and Processing

The monograph "Improving the Efficiency of Iron Ore Mining and Processing" presents a comprehensive study of innovative methods aimed at enhancing technological, energy, and operational efficiency in the iron ore industry. The work integrates theoretical models with experimental findings across four key areas. The first chapter examines the use of ultrasonic measurements for analyzing heterophasic media, including spatial modelling of ultrasonic fields in randomly heterogeneous environments and mineralogical analysis of iron ore based on wave propagation parameters. The second chapter introduces a combined method of electromagnetic acoustic and pulsed eddy current measurements, highlighting its physical foundations and practical application for determining iron ore characteristics with higher precision. The third chapter addresses energy efficiency in drilling operations. The fourth chapter is devoted to improving fine wet ore screening.
