Synopsis
Impurity is the story of love in the strongest, most paranormal experience of twisted revenge and tainted blood. Kail has never before had to experience a hard time in life. He's never before had to worry. He's had money, fame and respect since the day he was born. However, everything good is bound to change, and the more potent the good is, the harder the downfall will impact. Kail is expected to have an average school life when he is summoned to practice at the Magical Preparatory Academy, the school that built the foundation of his world since his ancestry. He is expected a royal treatment, because everybody loves him. That's not what happens. Very quickly, he's already hated by a person that isn't very powerful on the exterior, but ruins him in a matter of an hour. Kail is forced to go into hiding in the Non-Magical world, where he must fit into our society, and try to get by with a teenage girl he knows nothing about. Impurity is prime example of finding who you are. You think you know who you are, you think people love you for a reason, but you need to break that person to understand that you aren't perfect. That to be ourselves, we have to destroy ourselves.
About the Author
Kail Pooler is an American, award-winning writer, professional graphic designer, radio personality and, if I may say so myself, star student. He's won his first (and currently only) award for writing through JFCS for mental health. Kail has been diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, and highly-functioning Asperger's Syndrome. After that, he immediately wrote down his pre-assembled plot line on a stack of lined paper, and determined himself to save money towards the purchase of a computer. Age 13. After the original, but not the final, manuscript was written, Kail won his writing award which gave him a substantial amount of money to go towards the purchase, but not enough. Age 14. Kail soon after graduated top of his 8th grade class, and all of his earned money went to his computer. Age 14. At the time, the novel was named: The Academy Saga: Kail's Story It went from that, to The Magical Preparatory Academy: Year 1 To the new, simple, and brain-sticking name "Impurity." And, three manuscripts later, Impurity was finished. The bank account was made, the publishing was paid for, and Impurity was available for purchase worldwide. Age 15. And, if you've ever wondered what it's like to have your dreams come true.... It's pretty legit.
