Sir Daniel Keyte Sandford (1798?1838) was elected professor of Greek at Glasgow in September 1821 at the age of 23 ? in defiance of the Test Act, as Sandford was an Episcopalian. He was a notable success as a professor and later served in Parliament. With a biographical note on the author penned on the half-title. 8vo. viii, 37, [1 (blank)] pp. NSTC 2S4005.
