About the Author

Donald R. Snyder is the Graduate Coordinator and Professor in the Department of Sport Management and Recreation at Springfield College in Springfield, MA. Dr. Snyder, Dr. Rothschadl, and Marcy Marchello worked together on the Shared Ventures Outdoors Project, a three-year project to expand accessible outdoor recreation for persons with disabilities in the state of Massachusetts. The information presented in this book is one of the outcomes of the project.
