The Independent Princess: A Colorable Tale

The Independent Princess is a coloring book and adventure story all in one. A feisty heroine, a long-lost queen, evil villains, and a dashing Scotsman bring this colorable tale to life. Antonía Barclay is a determined young woman who is more interested in horses than dances. Soon after learning she is the secret daughter of Mary, Queen of Scots, she is taken prisoner by the same evil villains who kidnapped her mother. Refusing to be a damsel in distress, Antonia knocks down one obstacle after another, meeting every challenge with bold determination, quick wit, and skilled horsemanship. The Independent Princess is an unusual take on a historical romance whose readers—and colorers—will be delighted by this charming story with a surprise modern ending.
