About the Author
Walter R. Good, CFA, has served as president of the Mellon Universe Management Group and Chairman of the pension investment committee of the Continental Group, Inc. He has written numerous articles for the Financial Analyst's Journal, where he serves as an associate editor, as well as other financial publications. He lives in Darien, Connecticut.
Roy W. Hermansen, CFA, has served as executive vice president of the Mellon Universe Management and director of portfolio development at the Continental Group. He lives in Bedford, New York.
