____Single sheet, 5.75 x 6.5", printed on both sides and folded to form two leaves. _____ Promotional from this purported Chief of the Mescalero Apaches, relocated to Cleveland._____ Mexes, aka Homer Bunce, is walking across the country carrying an American flag to encourage Indians to enlist for WWI._____ He is accompanied by his wife "Princess Lone Feather.". _____ Of course he also happens to have a supply of Indian Joy Juice which he will no doubt happily exchange for gullible cash money. _____ Illustrated with a single portrait photo of Mexes. _____ The bulk is brief newspaper extracts from late 1917 and early 1918 mentioning of the walk. _____ Not in WorldCat (10/19). _____.
