GIFT QUALITY, VERY UNCOMMON 1935 boxed set of 8 very well-preserved staple-bound softcover children's books. This boxed set includes the following books: "NIGALEK: A Little Eskimo Boy"; "LEAPING TROUT: A Little Iroquois Boy"; "WINONA: A Little Indian of the Prairies"; "GRAY BIRD: A Little Plains Indian"; "ANTELOPE: A Navajo Indian Boy"; "MORNING STAR: A Little Pueblo Girl"; "MICCO: A Seminole Indian Boy"; and "WATLALA: An Indian of the Northwest." These are illustrated picture books about the lives and adventures of the different Indian children featured. All 8 softcover children's picture books remain housed in their intact, clean, colorfully illustrated box. All contents are well-preserved, with minor discolorations to the rear cover of 3 of the books, and minor tanning to the rear cover of the 4th. All front covers remain amazingly bright and clean. Tiny, harmless bump to one corner of the book "ANTELOPE" only. This set is a treasure trove and it is virtually impossible to find this 80-plus-year-old set in this well-preserved condition!
