Lot of three booklets published for the Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation, New York. Eighth edition, sixth printing, 1953 (32 pages); ninth edition, 1958 (36 pages), tenth edition, 1961 (36 pages). Each booklet includes a list of Museum publications and an index of authors and titles. Also includes Index: Indian Notes, compiled by Lillian Doyle, staff librarian, 1949, comprising volumes 1-7 (156 pages) All four booklets are in very good condition with no rust at staples; some minor browning consistent with age. Small smudge on the cover of the tenth edition booklet. George Gustav Heye started his personal collection of Native artifacts in 1897, and continued up to his death in 1957. He was the founder and director of the Museum of the American Indian, which is now part of the Smithsonian Institution and continues its mission of collection, education, and preservation.

We realize that shipping outside the U.S. is expensive (!) but will try to keep our costs as reasonable as possible; please see our shipping terms for more information.
Shipping terms
Books are wrapped for shipping and packaged in recycled and repurposed materials. We ship using USPS Book Rate unless other methods are requested. Particularly valuable items can be sent via Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx. Insurance will be included at no additional cost for items valued over US $50.
Note that multi-volume and oversized items will incur additional shipping. In addition, we realize that shipping outside the U.S. is very expensive--we will try to find the best rates, but please consider this extra cost when ordering. **Please enquire before you place your order and we will provide shipping costs for you. **
