About the Author

Sujata Kar obtained her doctoral degree in economics fromIndian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, in 2008. Her research interest includes econometrics and macroeconomics with special reference to inflation and monetary economics. She has authored a number of articles in reputed journals.
