The Indians' Revenge; Or Days of Horror: Some Appalling Events in the History of the Sioux is a historical book written by Alexander Berghold. The book documents the conflicts and battles between the Sioux Native American tribe and the United States Army during the late 1800s. It describes the events that led to the Sioux uprising, including the broken treaties, forced relocation, and the extermination of the buffalo, which was the main source of food for the Sioux. The book also details the Sioux's retaliation against the army, including the famous Battle of Little Bighorn, where General Custer and his men were defeated. Through vivid storytelling and firsthand accounts, Berghold provides a gripping and informative account of the Sioux's struggle for survival and their efforts to protect their land and way of life. The Indians' Revenge; Or Days of Horror: Some Appalling Events in the History of the Sioux is a must-read for anyone interested in Native American history and the conflicts between indigenous people and colonial powers. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
